About

Welcome to our little corner of the internet, this is Crash to Desktop a blog about all sorts of interesting things such as gaming, technology and the occasional cat in a sink. Our little minions scampering round in the background provide all sorts of content such as news, reviews, previews and coverage of some the best gaming events in the United Kingdom.

So why are we here? Well it's funny you should say that; the answer is simple - We're here for world domination, and to use the human race as convenient Everlast batteries....or maybe that was in a film or something.

We really want to provide our readers with something funny and dynamic whilst still being informative, and to add an informal twist to a stagnating industry. This isn't to say we can't be professional however, as we find ourselves growing we are eager to develop relationships within the industry, and strive to deliver better content to our readers.

Our little corner of Internet heaven is mostly managed by these two fine examples of homo sapien kind:

Fatal Impurity (also known as David Morbey to his mum)

One of two co-founders of Crash To Desktop, Fatal Impurity spends a lot of his time playing games, watching films and being aghast at the wonders of surround sound. Other than that he enjoys writing, technology, and web development which influenced him to join a small gaming community.

Whilst on assignment with them he travelled to GAMEfest, (a gaming expo hosted by the retailer GAME) whereby he had such good fun networking and playing unreleased games he asked himself: “Why aren't I doing this more often?”. Energised by this experience he prodded his close friend Krem and they set about creating Crash To Desktop – and the end of the world as we know it.

Kremlik (shortened to Krem for anyone who hates more than one syllable)

The other crazy person in the Crash To Desktop founding line-up, Krem, actually spent a good time early on in life being a community manager, developer and designer of a handful of fan based gaming projects, after that he hopped around freelance writing for sites and ezines after being a content manager with a internet radio station, he looked out onto going solo, and dragged Fatal along with him.

Krem can often be found raging at something or generally spreading crimson tinted blood-lust, like only he can. He often spends the rest of his time reading, playing games, watching TV or writing content for CTD.
